partnership program model

students, engage employees

distinction as largest and
longest partners.

Two research studies published in
2010 and 2013 prove iCouldBe's
career-connected curriculum
effectiveness in raising self-
efficacy, career identity, and career-
related motivation and ambition.
•2015
iCouldBe builds
groundbreaking data
science tools tracking real-
time mentee-mentor
participation, progress,
and relationship
development to support
measuring program impact
and outcomes.
•2020
COVID crisis response: iCouldBe partners
with MENTOR, Gates Foundation and
AT&T to support in-person programs.
1,500 mentoring matches supported
through 2021. Johns Hopkins publishes
research on our efforts to support the
field and a secondary analysis again shows
iCouldBe increases student self-efficacy.

Leveraging lessons learned during the
pandemic, iCouldBe embraces social capital
development and centering youth voices in
our curriculum and expanded programming
including mentee paid internships, focus
groups and a Youth Advisory Board.

Mapping tool to teach students
to identify and engage their
support networks to reach their

Leverage new partnership with New Visions for Public Schools to expand to schools in all five boroughs in New York City and achieve NYC Department of Education’s career connected programmatic goals.
Launch Alumni Program
Launch a virtual Alumni Program to extend programming to mentees in senior year of high school, and to and through post-secondary opportunities and into first careers to include mentor-driven access to internships, skill development, and jobs.
Advance Technology
Safeguard and modernize technology to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Increase capacity, update code and launch new features.
